I was very hesitant about doing this, because I didn't want it to look amateurish or like a paint-by-numbers job. But I have to say I was really pleased with this, and I know the person I am giving this to will love it! I was also extremely worried about shipping a large glass frame, but it was wrapped securely and arrived in perfect condition. It is important for people to keep in mind that a watercolor is not an acrylic or an oil painting, so the colors are more subtle and delicate. I would absolutely order from myDaVinci again.

Love, Love, Love our portrait. I purchased this portrait of our deceased German Shepherd for my son as a Christmas gift!!! It was absolutely beautiful, looks just like our beloved Chico and we will cherish it forever. I will definately be ordering from this company again, be it for a human or animal portrait.

Overall, I felt this to be excellent. I did need to go back a couple of times to request modification of the drawing but this was done promptly and to my instructions. And, as a gift, the persons receiving it were so delighted. We would most definitely consider using myDaVinci again. Very, very good!

So, honestly I haven’t seen the finished product, it’s a Christmas present for my family. They don’t know about it and we will open together Christmas morning! However, working with this company was awesome! This is the second picture I ordered within 2 weeks because the first one was so easy! Unfortunately, we lost both of our fur babies this year ( within 9 months of each other) . This baby was my girl...and the other was my husbands baby. I know the emotions will be spilling over when he see both pictures!!

I originally ordered this for my parent's 58th anniversary. Unfortunately my dad was placed into hospice and passed before the portrait arrived. i was amazed at the speed and quality of the drawing they did for me! each draft, they sent me a copy so i could have them tweek it until it was exactly what i wanted. me and my husband are expecting our first baby together and are surprising each other with gifts after the birth. this will be something he can cherish forever! definitely wayyyy worth the money...and only a week total from when they sent me the first proof until i received the final drawing, very safely packaged, in the mail.

I ordered a pencil sketch of my daughter's dogs for her Mother's Day surprise. I sent a couple extra photos just so the artists could "get a feel" of the boys' personalities - ha, ha The artists suggested the pic below because it had the most detail. They are very good about communication...after several e-mails this was the final product. My daughter was overjoyed. She said it "captured" the boys' personalities from their expressions to their stances. It took on extra meaning because she is relocating so this not only is a reminder of good times shared where she lives but a great new house-warming gift for their new place. I had previously ordered a watercolor from DaVinci for a friend which was just beautiful. They don't just duplicate...they put a little bit of sentiment in everything they do...lots of coupons and very reasonable additions like matte and frame. My next order will be a color pencil sketch!!

The process was user friendly, the artist did a fabulous job. Everyone I shared it with could not believe how well captured he was.
