This sketch made the perfect gift to my husband. The picture was of his dog who died the day before his birthday three years ago. He almost cried when he opened the box and saw her face staring up at him. It made the most perfect birthday present ever!

I ordered a pencil sketch of my daughter's dogs for her Mother's Day surprise. I sent a couple extra photos just so the artists could "get a feel" of the boys' personalities - ha, ha The artists suggested the pic below because it had the most detail. They are very good about communication...after several e-mails this was the final product. My daughter was overjoyed. She said it "captured" the boys' personalities from their expressions to their stances. It took on extra meaning because she is relocating so this not only is a reminder of good times shared where she lives but a great new house-warming gift for their new place. I had previously ordered a watercolor from DaVinci for a friend which was just beautiful. They don't just duplicate...they put a little bit of sentiment in everything they do...lots of coupons and very reasonable additions like matte and frame. My next order will be a color pencil sketch!!

I had a water color picture created of my parents' house for their 58th anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! The artists at DaVinci were so patient as I requested modifications to the original piece and they listened to every request I made and incorporated it into the piece. It is the house I grew up in so there was a huge subjective factor involved, but even so I couldn't be happier. Several years ago my oldest daughter gave a colored pencil sketch of a friend's victorian home as a thank you for offering her a place to stay in Boston one summer during an internship in the city. She was so happy with how it turned out that she then ordered a pencil sketch for my husband and I as a gift. Three pictures: colored pencil, black and white, and water colors all turned out great. The artist, Ken, was very patient, as we made many change requests to get the caricature just the way we wanted it. There were five of us weighing in and making suggestions. This is a great company, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. This is the third time we've ordered from myDaVinci, and each of the caricatures is a treasure!

My three dogs passed away over a nine month period. We had one poor image with all three of them together, littered with furniture, plants and my hairy legs. The myDaVinci artist removed the trash, and gave me the exact impression I was looking for. It took my breath away when I saw the proof. It is truly a gift that my family will treasure forever.

At first I was apprehensive, I thought it was going to look obviously artificial, but that's actually what I look like, great job to the graphic designers over there at MyDavinci. And a special shout out to the shipping department, that package could've withstood a 10' drop without a scratch. My only criticism is there aren't enough portrait options for couples. Please provide more scenes, from more eras, and you will have a customer for life. I intend to buy each one of my friends and family members a portrait of us.

This watercolor is so beautiful and done so well. The first one I received the haircoloring was a little blonde, I requested to redo it to look more auburn. It is perfect.
