This is the second time I have commissioned a piece of art but the first time from myDaVinci. First of all, giving a gift of original art is something really memorable and special. I commissioned a portrait of me and my daughter from a photo taken last Memorial Day, and I will give it to her as a gift for Christmas. One thing I like about commissioning art from a photo is that the artist can do all sorts of things that just can't be done in Photoshop. (Plus it is original art!) I wanted my t-shirt changed, and the original photo had way too much contrast. The artist did a wonderful job. I also requested - somewhat late in the process - to add in background details. Even though there was not much room, the artists did a wonderful job adding them in. It is also nice that you can get prints from the original. I bought one for myself. I have two modest criticisms. One is that it would have been nice to be able to preview how the original photo was to be cropped before they started the work. Second is that the range of papers, mats, and frames is limited. I have ordered prints from fine art printers, and they offer many different kinds of paper, mats, glass, and frames.

I am a realtor and wanted to give a Thank You gift to my seller. This was her family home and it was bittersweet experience. myDaVinci created a fabulous sketch of the outside of the home and my seller was so happy to receive it and cherish a picture of it for years to come. Perfect for a Christmas gift. The artist did a great job. Better quality than other options I’ve seen. Timing was fairly quick for what it is and overall very pleased. My only small complaint was I did check for the artist to sign it and they must have forgotten. But that’s a minor detail. Thank you for making this easy and a beautiful gift.

Our son is getting married and we gave this to he and his fiancé as this is their first home. . The creator was wonderful and made changes quickly for me. . The artwork was delivered in a timely manner and they love it!

My three dogs passed away over a nine month period. We had one poor image with all three of them together, littered with furniture, plants and my hairy legs. The myDaVinci artist removed the trash, and gave me the exact impression I was looking for. It took my breath away when I saw the proof. It is truly a gift that my family will treasure forever.

I ordered this picture...I thought it would make a Great Birthday Present for my Mother. It was a lot of Fun having her face put into a Piece of Historical Artwork. I ordered it framed...it came completely finnished...all that I had to do was give it to her. They did such a Great Job...you cannot even tell that her face was just added to a copy of the original portrait...it was truly a unique and special gift...the kind that you cannot just find anywhere. This is the fifth hand drawn color pencil I ordered. Each one is perfect and looks exactly like the photo that was sent to DaVinvi to create the drawing. This drawing was particularly difficult because the baby had a frown in all her Baptism pictures. We asked DaVinci to use a photo of the baby smiling from a different photo and superimpose it onto the Baptism photo. No one could tell that the drawing was actually from two different photographs! FYI - make sure you check if you are ordering the layout in landscape or portrait. Not realizing the drawing's layout was landscape, I approved it. When the drawing arrived, I discovered the error. DaVinici was very accommodating and told me to return the drawing and they corrected the layout. I highly recommend DaVinci because of their talented artists and great customer service.

This piece was a perfect 25th anniversary gift for me to give my husband. The quality was excellent, shipping quick and the company is an overall good company to work with. I was amazed with the whole experience and my husband loved it! Thanks, MyDavinci!

This sketch made the perfect gift to my husband. The picture was of his dog who died the day before his birthday three years ago. He almost cried when he opened the box and saw her face staring up at him. It made the most perfect birthday present ever!

At first I was apprehensive, I thought it was going to look obviously artificial, but that's actually what I look like, great job to the graphic designers over there at MyDavinci. And a special shout out to the shipping department, that package could've withstood a 10' drop without a scratch. My only criticism is there aren't enough portrait options for couples. Please provide more scenes, from more eras, and you will have a customer for life. I intend to buy each one of my friends and family members a portrait of us.

This is my husband's favorite photo of us and it was getting a little discolored behind the frame. When I found your website, I knew this would be the perfect gift. I didn't have a digital file or even a negative. I just sent in the photo and within a week, I had this lovely version of my husbands favorite photo. I did a hi-res scan of an old family picture from the '50s, then isolated my mother's image. The lighting of the photo was flat, and there were nearly no highlights in her hair, and her earrings got lost in the shadows. Somehow, the myDaVinci artist overcame all of that, found her hairstyle, found her earrings, and reproduced every other feature faithfully, and far better than the original photo. It is a beautiful portrait, and I'll display it with pride. And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend myDaVinci to anyone looking for a sensitive interpretation of a family picture.

We are so glad we had a painting done of our 14 year old dog. She is a sweetheart and we want to make sure we have a lasting memory of her. Working with myDaVinci was easy and the results were outstanding. We were very pleased with the final product. Would certainly recommend this company.

Very pleased with the overall experience from ordering through changes done. Easy to order , changes were done during the process, shipping was on time. The overall look was what I was looking to achieve from the bench, to the lettering, the landscaping with the water in the background and the 2 cardinals. The 2 faces were somewhat of a disappointment but faces are probably the hardest to capture I guess.

I am so pleased with the artist's colored pencil drawing of my dog, Sonny! He or she captured Sonny completely - his eyes, his smile, coloring - basically his entire personality! My boyfriend and I are so pleased, we smile each time we look at the artwork. Thank you so much for the amazing job!

Coffee's entire 15 years of life was spent by my dad's side. He was truly my dad's loyal companion. This beautiful pencil drawing was a copy of one of my favorite photos of Coffee. The artist did an amazing job! It's simply stunning -- and it brought so much joy to my dad. Thank you so very much!

The main thing for me was the artist caught the essence of the photo I sent in. Shading was incredible. I would use them again in a heartbeat and plan to tell my friends and family.

Ordered this as a wedding gift and from the start the experience was great. Communication from and with myDavinci was prompt and always kept me up to date with where the product was at. This is the 3rd time I have used myDaVinci and I am yet again extremely impressed! You should be able to make up your mind just in looking at the reviews/pictures but I highly recommend if you are considering. I have had 3 different pieces created in 3 mediums (pencil sketch, colored pencil and watercolor) and all have turned out better than I had hoped. Makes for a very thoughtful gift that lasts forever. Repeat buyers tip - Assuming you don't have a special frame the piece needs to go in, have it shipped in a frame they sell. So much better having it ready to go when you receive. (I did not opt for this option on my first to save money)

I am so happy always!!! With the work your artists do. I have order several poster pictures and every single one l have had done gas been incredible. No matter where l bring them it is always the hit if the party!!!

We are thrilled with the artwork. This is the 6th pencil sketch ordered for a family member. We give one for each person on their 50th birthday depicting his/her 3-4 yr old self. The unfortunate part is that you charge way too much for framing, $87. I had to mat and frame it myself.

We wanted to have a large portrait of my father for his memorial service, but most of the photographs we had were low resolution and couldn't be enlarged to the size we wanted without significant pixelation. This digital painting was a good balance between cost and turn around time. It was a very fast process and I was sent a proof to approve within a day or 2. It was well protected during shipment. The only thing I would do differently in the future is find a frame first and purchase the size to match the frame. Due to the size I ordered, off the shelf frame selection was limited. This was a great service and the smoothness of the transaction was greatly appreciated during a very stressful time.

We are 100% satisfied with our artwork. They took a photo and rearranged the figures to how we wanted and then did multiple edits to get everything just the way we wanted. They were very responsive to our emails and inquiries. It was a bit pricey due to the number of people in the photo, but totally worth the price! This is something my husband will always treasure.

The artist did an excellent job of rendering this image of my home. Also, they accommodated a request to add hot pink flowers to some of the bushes even though the original image did not show them.
