The photos I sent were scanned versions of old photos with poor resolution. The artist worked with it and truly captured my dad's look. There were several details I never even thought about that the artist captured, such as the light colored mole under his left eye and his slightly crooked smile. It is a gift for one of my siblings. I couldn't be happier.

I can’t say enough about my experience with mydavinci... I wanted to have a painting done of my parents' old summer bungalow which has since been knocked down. I found 2 old photos which they were able to successfully merge into one. They gave me 2 or 3 opportunities to modify what they had completed. The photos were only of the front door with their dog sitting in front so I was a little concerned about how good it would come out. Wondered if it was enough to make a successful painting. Well, they did an amazing job!! The details they were able to include from old fuzzy pictures is astounding! My moms' eyes welled up with tears when she saw it! We can’t stop looking at it! I highly recommend!!!

I gave them a picture of my sister and BIL’s Briard Dog. It was done in pencil. It is remarkable. I would have liked a little bit more color but Briards are usually a light fawn, white and this one is 10 and had gray in him. Not much you can do to add color to that. This is going to be their Christmas present. I am very happy with the end product. Would certainly recommend.

The artist customized a few things on the picture (a cat instead of a dog, couch color, tv screen made larger), and it looks just like we would want it to be resembling the real things across the room and on the wall. The hand-penciled drawing was wonderful and blew my wife and I away with how accurate and detailed it was. It fully captured our dog’s features and smile, despite her being an all black dog. And it also accurately portrayed my wife who was holding our dog in the drawing. The process was very good too. Before framing up and shipping us the drawing, we received a preview via email for approval and given the opportunity to request changes. And from start (ordering) to finish (drawing in hand) was about 3-4 weeks. We love our drawing and will treasure it for years to come!
