This is the second time I have commissioned a piece of art but the first time from myDaVinci. First of all, giving a gift of original art is something really memorable and special. I commissioned a portrait of me and my daughter from a photo taken last Memorial Day, and I will give it to her as a gift for Christmas. One thing I like about commissioning art from a photo is that the artist can do all sorts of things that just can't be done in Photoshop. (Plus it is original art!) I wanted my t-shirt changed, and the original photo had way too much contrast. The artist did a wonderful job. I also requested - somewhat late in the process - to add in background details. Even though there was not much room, the artists did a wonderful job adding them in. It is also nice that you can get prints from the original. I bought one for myself. I have two modest criticisms. One is that it would have been nice to be able to preview how the original photo was to be cropped before they started the work. Second is that the range of papers, mats, and frames is limited. I have ordered prints from fine art printers, and they offer many different kinds of paper, mats, glass, and frames.

We absolutely love the picture and is presently hanging on the wall in our living room!!! Will be purchasing more in the near future!!!

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary and he loved it!! The artwork is amazing and extremely accurate. It captured everything that I wanted and, I think it came out wonderfully. Very pleased with the overall experience from ordering through changes done. Easy to order , changes were done during the process, shipping was on time. The overall look was what I was looking to achieve from the bench, to the lettering, the landscaping with the water in the background and the 2 cardinals. The 2 faces were somewhat of a disappointment but faces are probably the hardest to capture I guess.

Excellent watercolor captures the look and feel of this sentimental property. The artist removed overgrown brush from the scene and really fixed the appearance which had become obscured. The detail is exquisite such as showing individual bricks in the house and chimney. The overall balance of color and texture is sublime.

Well done, captured my mom perfectly!! I love the choice of colours for the background!!

While I had a little difficulty at the beginning of the process, once the photos were resent, I am very pleased with the results. I love having a preview and input for changes to the end result. In my case, the baby had a hat in the photo that I asked be removed. This is my second experience with you and I am again very pleased. You did a fabulous job of creating a beautiful painting my son’s house. I gave it to him for Christmas. He was over the moon thrilled ,surprised and totally happy to receive the watercolor of his house.

I was extremely pleased with the watercolor portrait of our Irish Setter. This was intended as a birthday gift for my husband and I was worried about the detail quality of the photo I was uploading for the artist to use. But the artist did a wonderful job capturing all the special details we remembered about our dog & even made the small modification I requested after the initial preview. I'm currently pregnant and although the baby is not born until this October, it was father's day and I thought it was a cute idea to get my husband the photo of the father's hands holding the baby's feet and I used the personilization to add the baby's name and left the Father message as is and it went together well. It was something so cute to give my hubby and can be put in the baby's room later as it has his full name on it with the cute baby feet in father's hands picture! I think it makes a great gift for a new father and is very heartwarming and pretty to have!

At first I was apprehensive, I thought it was going to look obviously artificial, but that's actually what I look like, great job to the graphic designers over there at MyDavinci. And a special shout out to the shipping department, that package could've withstood a 10' drop without a scratch. My only criticism is there aren't enough portrait options for couples. Please provide more scenes, from more eras, and you will have a customer for life. I intend to buy each one of my friends and family members a portrait of us.

I wanted to get my future wife something really special. I found your website and purchased a pencil sketch of a picture of myself, my fiance', and our dog IZZY. This is the second piece of artwork my husband and I chose to have myDavinci produce for us, since we loved the first piece they made for us a few years ago - a pencil sketch of our older dog. We chose a water color painting for our next dog, and it captured her perfectly! The artist did a great job portraying the nuances of her face, her soft, wavy hair, and her white/cream coloring. The colors they used for the leaves, grass, and trees in the background were also perfect. I had asked for a few small changes to the first digital mock I saw, but they were all pretty minor, and the artist made the exact changes I requested in a very short turn time. When we received the actual print, it was even better than the digital mock. We LOVE it and are excited to hang it on our wall next to the first pencil sketch we received. We will definitely continue to use myDavinci for our future dog portraits!

Purchased this as a wedding gift for a family member. This was last minute as they decided to get married only a couple weeks ago. The couple does all their RenCon festivals so I thought what better gift than a royal painting! I downloaded the appropriate pictures 8 days before the wedding. The next day received a review of what the canvas would look like and approved the picture. To my surprise I got a tracking number showing the canvas had been shipped and the canvas arrived 7 days after I ordered! This thing turned out great, was impressed not only with the quick turn around but also the quality of the print. I did not expect to have it in time to give the couple at the wedding but I did, and they loved it! I received a gift certificate to MyDavinci from friends when they knew I would be selling my home. The home I was selling was the one we raised our family in. I had the opportunity to take pictures of the house during the spring when our weeping cherry tree was in blossom. The watercolor of my home captured it beautifully and will be a keepsake for years to come. One piece of advice for others would be to be mindful in selecting a frame. The frame I chose was wider than I anticipated.

I am very happy with the drawing done of my daughter’s kitty. Although the photo I liked best couldn’t be used, this was a good substitution. The process was very easy and I received the drawing quickly. I know the drawing will bring a smile to my daughter’s face on her birthday.
