I got this done as a gift for my brother's birthday. He is getting married this year and loves going tent camping, so he absolutely loved this picture and couldn't wait to hang it up. This is the second time I have commissioned a piece of art but the first time from myDaVinci. First of all, giving a gift of original art is something really memorable and special. I commissioned a portrait of me and my daughter from a photo taken last Memorial Day, and I will give it to her as a gift for Christmas. One thing I like about commissioning art from a photo is that the artist can do all sorts of things that just can't be done in Photoshop. (Plus it is original art!) I wanted my t-shirt changed, and the original photo had way too much contrast. The artist did a wonderful job. I also requested - somewhat late in the process - to add in background details. Even though there was not much room, the artists did a wonderful job adding them in. It is also nice that you can get prints from the original. I bought one for myself. I have two modest criticisms. One is that it would have been nice to be able to preview how the original photo was to be cropped before they started the work. Second is that the range of papers, mats, and frames is limited. I have ordered prints from fine art printers, and they offer many different kinds of paper, mats, glass, and frames.

At first I was apprehensive, I thought it was going to look obviously artificial, but that's actually what I look like, great job to the graphic designers over there at MyDavinci. And a special shout out to the shipping department, that package could've withstood a 10' drop without a scratch. My only criticism is there aren't enough portrait options for couples. Please provide more scenes, from more eras, and you will have a customer for life. I intend to buy each one of my friends and family members a portrait of us.

In searching online for an unusual, memorable gift for my daughter's first Mother's Day, I found your site. The order process was very easy and I was DELIGHTED with the picture. I love the fact that I was able to preview the artwork and request changes before it was shipped to me. My daughter is one of those who rarely, rarely cries, but when she saw the lovely pencil sketch, she sobbed. Thank you! My only "complaint" would be that I didn't receive my artwork in time for Mother's Day because I requested a change, and it slowed down receipt of the artwork by several days. This wasn't a problem for me because it turned out that I didn't see my daughter until a few days after Mother's Day. So, if ordering for a special occasion, be sure to order well in advance. Bottom line--I love the artwork so much that I am ordering again for my son-in-law for Father's Day! Thanks again!

I love my picture!! My husband passed away and in looking for pictures for the visitation I realized it had been years since we had taken a picture of him with our two boys!! I contacted My DaVinci on line, found several snapshots of the three of them and told them what I wanted. They did a fantastic job.

My daughter is graduating from high school and I wanted a "fun" gift to go along with her more serious gifts. This totally fit the bill and I was very pleased with the results. I was also extremely happy with how fast the artwork was completed and the fact that they allow you to review the final copy and make any needed changes (didn't have any) before you actually get it.

I was very impressed with my experience with myDaVinci--the ordering process was easy and customer service and my artist immediately reached out, discussed which photo would be their best reference, and assured me they could still customize the painting to include fall foliage (the reference photo was taken in winter). The painting was done much earlier than I expected, and is even more beautiful in person. I bought this for my mom, who is planning to downsize from my childhood home, and I think she will love it!

We were very happy with our painting. They made adjustments to make sure it was perfect!

I thank the artist who created that caricature for our colleague who was leaving after 17yr. It touched him and made him laugh. All subjects were created as specified, and the main guy - looked very much like our colleague! great job! There was some initial lack of clear communication and I was not able to show a preview at his going away party. That was unfortunate. But it does not detract from the work that the artist accomplished.

I submitted a relatively blurry image to be reproduced. They expressed concern and asked for a better copy (understandable), of which I didn’t have. They used the original that I sent them and it came out gorgeous!! I didn’t have to change a single thing about it. I am wanting to have a few more of these done as gifts, and some for myself. If you are hesitating - don’t!! These are wonderful and well worth the price. An excellent experience through and through.

I am thrilled to have found DaVinci! I am eagerly awaiting proofs for my second sketch... the first one of my daughter turned out wonderful....they worked with me and redid a couple of places until I was completely happy with the outcome... all at no extra charge.. I would recommend this for any sketch or painting of that special person!

Unfortunately, the memory card with our wedding photos was lost before we ever received any pictures of us together. All that we had were a few iphone photos that a friend took. We were grateful for those, but the quality wasn’t good enough to print past a 4x6. Then I heard of myDaVinci...we sent in the best iphone picture we could find and the artist created the most beautiful portrait from our wedding. Now we have a large representation, and it’s one of the only ones from our wedding day. I’m so grateful for this company! The painting is so incredibly detailed, down to the exact lace detail of my dress. No one would ever know that it was painted off a small phone photo that was our last hope. We’ve already ordered others as gifts. You may think it’s a big investment, but the value is incredible. I am amazed at their work! Thank you!!
